Hello from Camilla!
Camilla is a mom to twins, Registered Nurse (RN), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Baby-led Sleep and Wellness Consultant, Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy certified (PMH-C).
She has been a RN for 29+ years in various nursing specialities including maternal child health, infant mental health, public health, occupational health and infection control. She has been an IBCLC for over 15 years in hospital, community clinics and private practice. Camilla has advanced training and education in mental health conditions in parents, tongue, lip & buccal ties, breastfeeding multiples, induced lactation, food allergies and FPIES, and infants with complex medical issues/histories.
She practices from an attachment based perspective and helps parents learn to listen to their “gut, tune-in to their baby’s cues and know that this journey was never meant to be done without the help of others.
Camilla (she/her) lives with her husband and grown up twins and serves clients in the greater Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville areas of Ontario, Canada. In her spare time she is often outside in nature or spending it with her many animals (parrots, cats, geese, small horse and any other animal that chooses to live in her yard!
